Somali Women for Action(SOW4A) is a local, not-for-profit, non-political non-governmental organization (NGO), women lead and owned organization that was established by a group of women intellectuals, advocates, activists and change makers in Somalia, A series of consultations held in Mogadishu, Baidoa and kismaayo in 2020/21 among women change makers, advocates, and activist to deliberate the systematic challenges faced by women in Somalia lead to the formation of Somali Women for Change.Â
